Apologies to all my Readers

Hi Everyone

Please bear with me whilst I re-upload pictures into my blog.

It would appear that Google has taken all the pictures off my entire blog going back to its beginning.

From the research I have done it seems that this has happened to others and there is no quick resolution to it other than to put all the images back one by one.

I may just re-instate the past few months' blog post pictures, and not bother with any further back.  Life is too short!!  We'll see.

Kind Regards,

Cathy x

  3. I have heard of this too. Could you re upload photos from your pc/ laptop to the last few pages of posts?

  6. So frustrating! I have always blogged using "Live Writer" but that died last week too

  7. What system are you using ? What has Google said about the problem?

I know that I can't directly access my Picasa files as the latest Picasa update isn't Linux/Ubuntu friendly...yet. I've still got the pics on my blog though, so it doesn't look like that is your problem.
I know that there is a limit on added pictures, but by adding smaller images you can evade that problem. Gary Rith got around that by having blog#1, then blog#2.....as he reached the data limit.

  8. Oh Cathy. I don't often say this, but I really do know how you feel because the same thing happened to me earlier this year. I am still putting pictures back in. I am afraid that I don't have any solution other than putting the pictures back, but I hope that you find a better solution. So so sorry for you. xx

  9. Oh dear, I'm so sorry, what a horrible thing to happen. Quite worrying to hear things like that do happen too. If you find out any more about why it happened, or how to prevent it, as well as, hopefully, any solutions, then please post it.
